QUANTUM PRINCIPAL ALISON ANTHOINE LAUNCHES LEGAL DOC BUSINESS PAPERLEX
Quantum Principal Alison Anthoine has been a practicing attorney for more than 30 years -- and has used this expertise in her consulting practice. She is co-founder and President of Paperlex, which launched late in 2011 out of the co-working space General Assembly. The company will offer templates of documents for free that consumers can tweak as needed -- versus established competitors Nolo and LegalZoom which charge. ALBERT WENGER MEDIA GURU FEBRUARY 28
Albert Wenger is a Managing Director of Union Square Ventures that manages $450 million across three funds. He will discuss the firm’s (collegial) decision processes, how he works with entrepreneurs and how he sees the future in this space. Union Square Ventures is a stand out firm that invests almost exclusively in Internet services that create large networks. It currently holds some 39 companies in their portfolio include: Boxee, Etsy, Disqus, Foursquare, Hashable, Kickstarter and Zynga.
